It's Pink Wednesday!!!

Hello Lacquer Luvers! It's the middle of the week and that means it's PINK WEDNESDAY! Today I have a post for you all with a color that I used in a water marble before. I'm using one of the polishes Ty gifted me for Valentine's Day, Sinful Colors Oasis. I hope you all are ready for a pretty pink mani =)

My mani today began with a base of Essie Grow Faster followed by two coats of Sinful Colors Oasis. Oasis is a vibrant shade of pink that has some purple shimmer throughout it which gives it some depth. This color is really pretty and you can't beat the fact that it's easy to find at Walgreens for $1.99, right? The formula is good, I got away with opaqueness at just two coats & I really like Sinful's brushes.

Next I applied one coat of this Prisma Luminous Color polish over Oasis. This lovely has no name and although I do not have it, I believe it may be a dupe (or close enough) to OPI's Teenage Dream. I got this in a pack of 7 at Ross for $5.99. It's a clear base with varying sizes of glitter that are pink, silver, and larger pieces of holographic glitter. This lovely is great for layering.

For nail art I went and stamped two different flower images on my nails from the first set of plates by Bundle Monster. I used BM06 on my pinky, middle, and thumb fingers & BM03 on my ring and index fingers using Konad Special Stamping Polish in white. I topped this mani off with a coat of Good To Go by Essie.

I think this mani is cute and appropriate for Spring. I realized after reading a few other blogs that I haven't done a first day of Spring mani. I guess that's because it feels like Summer down here, lol! I would love to know what you all think of my Pink Wednesday manicure for the day so please leave a comment below. As always, I hope you all liked this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello Lacquer Luvers and a Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all! There is no better way to celebrate St. Patty's Day than with GREEN and you all know how much I love my greens =) For those of you that don't know, I am part Irish, too! This holiday is one of my favorites. Green beer (not now, of course!), parades, leprechauns, & rainbows are all so much fun. Not to mention, delicious foods like Irish potatoes which I will be making later on today, yum!

I began my St. Patrick's Day mani with a base of Essie Grow Faster followed by two coats of Zoya Apple. Apple can be best described as: "Luminous yellow-toned apple green packed with gold metallic sparkle.  A dimensional green that's clean and bright." I LOVE this green! It sparkles like no other and is such a great shade for this holiday. Formula and application for this lovely was, as is always with Zoya polishes, great.

To compliment the gold in Apple, I used ORLY Luxe and Scotch tape to create a french tip. I added a four leaf clover stamp from BundleMonster's BM03 image plate using my Konad Special Stamping Polish in white to bring in the St. Patty's Day theme. I topped my mani off with a coat of Essie Good To Go.

And look, I have a lucky four leaf clover:

I'm looking over a four-leaf clover
That I overlooked before.
One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain,
Third is the roses that grow in the lane.
No need explaining the one remaining
Is somebody I adore.
I'm looking over a four-leaf clover
That I overlooked before.

Willie Nelson - I'm Looking Over A Four-Leaf Clover

I really enjoyed creating this fun manicure and I hope you all like it! It reminded me of my Grandmother (who is half Irish) and how much I miss her. I can't wait to enjoy some Irish potatoes later on while looking at my pretty green nails! What do you all think of this mani luvs? How are you wearing green today? As always, I hope you all liked this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you! May the luck of the Irish be with you, xo!

Sunday Spam: Bettina & Nail Art

Hello Lacquer Luvers! For today's post, I want to share some of my previous photos with you. Before I began this blog, I created my Facebook & Twitter pages where I would share my nail art with friends. I wanted to share these photos with all of you, too!

In May of 2011, I went to the Miami Beauty Show which was held at Miami Beach Convention Center. It was my first time ever going to something like this and I was so excited. At the show, there was a booth that immediately caught my eye!

I saw this pink, & all of these pretties and immediately made my way through the crowd! The only other place I have ever seen Bettina before this was on Cristina's blog, Let Them Have Polish. I was really, really excited to see that they were there and making their debut in South Florida at the show. Here's a pic of one of
the displays there:

At the show, I picked up a few of these & my only regret after coming home was not grabbing one of each one they had! I have been wanting more of them ever since I left and when I recently found out that they were being sold at a local drugstore chain, Navarro, I made my where there! Every time I go out I try to stop and get a few of these. I am happy to be seeing them more around here & hope to start seeing the newest collections in stores soon.

So, on to the photos! Some of you may have seen these, some of you may have not. Either way, I hope you all are enjoying this post =)
