(Pop Art Inspired Nails)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello Lacquer Luvers! I know I always say this, but seriously, I am SO excited to share my mani with you guys today!! A few years ago I attempted to recreate one of Andy Warhol's pop art images (the one with the guns) on my nails and it was disastrous to say the least. I mean, just awful! I recently received a few plates from MoYou London to review and after looking at this one image of Marilyn Monroe I knew it was time to try another pop art look. This time I was successful! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmLDykFdyX4TJtYjcnTXOL-nm8sqC3lcXItQwnUcP9SJos5cQ2TfL9Gvmo6Ba1iRCUkisbKhAcXkgRg-G_o9-OKFKqsKzm6aT78wYQ8vADAXhMJePPHSxY7zNtmkdJYdrTKJJcL1IKAsuC/s1600/PicsArt_1393263677147.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmLDykFdyX4TJtYjcnTXOL-nm8sqC3lcXItQwnUcP9SJos5cQ2TfL9Gvmo6Ba1iRCUkisbKhAcXkgRg-G_o9-OKFKqsKzm6aT78wYQ8vADAXhMJePPHSxY7zNtmkdJYdrTKJJcL1IKAsuC/s1600/PicsArt_1393263677147.jpg" height="320" width="242" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now I don't know about you guys, but I am totally in love with this look! It incorporates so many things that I adore: bright colors, polka dots, eye catching imagery and of course, Marilyn. I think this mani was successful because my creative process this time was different than any other time I've created a manicure. I usually sit a bunch of colors and plates in front of me and have at it but this time I thought to sketch it out first. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhf1kXl10NqJObu5ree5D3kQvpt21t7YZaWWARJN0C2xPyG_1x5NF8zvMJVuI_KwETufoeQLarNjTcDOzMs6avQR63FgJfKekilY9boEY4BCHFpgAEOc7uJXaeZlFL0WLi4wXVj9exTfuxA/s1600/PicsArt_1393336532046.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhf1kXl10NqJObu5ree5D3kQvpt21t7YZaWWARJN0C2xPyG_1x5NF8zvMJVuI_KwETufoeQLarNjTcDOzMs6avQR63FgJfKekilY9boEY4BCHFpgAEOc7uJXaeZlFL0WLi4wXVj9exTfuxA/s1600/PicsArt_1393336532046.jpg" height="110" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After I sketched the nails I went and grabbed a bunch of bright polishes. As you can see, I broke down the colors I would be using for each nail. "B" is my base or background color, "H" is hair & "F" is face. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4bgwx2qIfLiM0yD5Rc-3Yxukcsg0QUC5vGGcWCZqDzNNw2nt0xhqkfzZ6VoWY5hD87xmsY3aCsIOcF6J7E26BD4TB3qjBixgjRPQZkIiAAp0PdPfGeYGQXOOKZEy_sNfXuSi6U1EFIzoI/s1600/PicsArt_1393263781820.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4bgwx2qIfLiM0yD5Rc-3Yxukcsg0QUC5vGGcWCZqDzNNw2nt0xhqkfzZ6VoWY5hD87xmsY3aCsIOcF6J7E26BD4TB3qjBixgjRPQZkIiAAp0PdPfGeYGQXOOKZEy_sNfXuSi6U1EFIzoI/s1600/PicsArt_1393263781820.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My manicure began with 2 coats each (starting from pinky to thumb) of Zoya Micky, Bettina Green Apple & Bettina Sunrise and 3 coats each of Essie Saturday Disco Fever & Essie Turquoise & Caicos. I honestly liked that the way it was, just fun bright colors! But I had to finish the task at hand so I started my nail art using MoYou London's Pro Collection 10 Plate and Konad Special Stamping Polish in black.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5SdIj9OViGWbpey1il7vRMXVtJ4I9FvdO6JOWawKaDJO-jLmtgkJFncxoyQnqOqBYDpgHu3ioq73bldOxaL_kxp2AB7CFdjxSChZPOD-VaOIq5i_ZVtjnLFPesNTF42IIwNL3rPDLbIa3/s1600/PicsArt_1393263903157.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5SdIj9OViGWbpey1il7vRMXVtJ4I9FvdO6JOWawKaDJO-jLmtgkJFncxoyQnqOqBYDpgHu3ioq73bldOxaL_kxp2AB7CFdjxSChZPOD-VaOIq5i_ZVtjnLFPesNTF42IIwNL3rPDLbIa3/s1600/PicsArt_1393263903157.jpg" height="320" width="289" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All of my Marilyn's were created using the stamping decal method and MoYou's Rebel Collection 02 plate. I made these Warhol-esque by using funky color combinations that really pop when put together. These are the polishes I used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Turquoise - Essie Turquoise & Caicos</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Purple - Essie Play Date</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Yellow - Bettina Sunrise</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Orange - Essie Saturday Disco Fever</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Green - Bettina Green Apple</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Pink - Zoya Micky</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've been wearing this mani since Saturday. Do I love it? Maybe a little too much! However, FedEx just left with a delivery so I will weep as I remove this. Do you guys have any MoYou stamping plates? I love the unique images that are on them and the wide variety of collections that they offer. MoYou plates retail for £4.99 & can be purchased on their <a href="http://www.moyou.co.uk/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">website</span></a>. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers & I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!</div>

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I was checking out my Instagram feed a couple weeks ago and came across a swatch by <a href="http://instagram.com/lacquerloon" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">@Lacquerloon</span></a> that made me do something I haven't done in a while. I made my first impulse buy in months! One look at Hare Polish Wrapped In Plastic and I'm sure you'll understand why. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Wrapped In Plastic is described as a subtle blue toned grey jelly with white, aqua and iridescent gold glitter throughout. I applied 1 coat of this over a light blue creme. It went on beautifully and was super shiny when it dried. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For nail art I used some Scotch tape and Cult Nails Tempest to create the triangles. Then I cut some stamping decals to fit inside the triangles. The decals were made using MoYou London's Suki Collection 1 plate and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blue Me Away! + Bettina Vanity. I completed this manicure with a coat of HKGirl and 2 studs.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To be honest, I wish I would have just left this mani alone before the nail art. The polish itself was beautiful enough on her own. I really want to try some more Hare Polishes. Do you guys have any suggestions? Favorites? Hare retails for $12.50 & can be purchased through her shop on <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/HAREpolish" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Etsy</span></a>. (An Anti-VDay Mani)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello Lacquer Luvers! I have a really cool post to share with you all today. Do you guys remember the anti-Valentines Day manicures I did <a href="http://instagram.com/p/VuUzoxtx82/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">last year</span></a> and the <a href="http://luvmylacquer.blogspot.com/2012/02/you-give-love-bad-name-anti-valentines.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">year before</span></a>? I think this will be an LML tradition since I have another anti-Valentines Day mani to share with you all. So for my ladies and gents who despise this commercialized holiday, this one is for you!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG0mPUCLrt-UF4C7vhZ4-9b9CL1sNqqVSZCf1kpw_DtvyOXKmLXT8B4nRJzs2PIkwzSfqWJZTZS92_tRu6eMuCg6HZUYClVMhlW5dbeo48vg4XXYjk0ItjykEkWwF8JjFlFR-62GIMbHjI/s1600/PicsArt_1392217964506.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG0mPUCLrt-UF4C7vhZ4-9b9CL1sNqqVSZCf1kpw_DtvyOXKmLXT8B4nRJzs2PIkwzSfqWJZTZS92_tRu6eMuCg6HZUYClVMhlW5dbeo48vg4XXYjk0ItjykEkWwF8JjFlFR-62GIMbHjI/s1600/PicsArt_1392217964506.jpg" height="640" width="490" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure was inspired by a pin on Pinterest. I saw this really cool <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/73676143877924372/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">burned pages manicure tutorial</span></a> on there and knew that I wanted to recreate something similar. I chose to stamp on the letter from BM311 instead of using the newspaper method in the tutorial because every time I've tried it the ink just wouldn't transfer. One day I'll get that technique down, but for now, stamping works great for me!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure began with 2 coats of Zoya Chantal. Chantal can be best described as a delicious full-coverage, French Vanilla cream. I like the color of this polish as a base but the formula is a little streaky. It does even out when dry, however (it's still wet in these pics).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Next I used my Konad Special Stamping Polish in black and BM311 to stamp on the letter. I scraped some of the image off of my stamper so that the word "Love" was only on my ring finger. I wasn't worried about placement because I knew some of the bald spots would serve as burns. I used Zoya Louise and followed the tutorial in the pin above to achieve this look and stamped on a kiss using Zoya Rekha and Cheeky CH29. This mani was complete with a coat of HKGirl. </div>

How cool is this manicure?! I love how the burned pages came out and that I was able to use stamping as a remedy for the newspaper trick. So what do you think guys? Will you be wearing an anti-Valentine's Day mani or going all out with hearts and roses on your nails this Friday? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Today's manicure is a little unconventional when it comes to the Valentine's Day theme. It's not your typical pink, red and white manicure but it sure is cutesy and would be great to wear on the day for lovers, don't you think? Let me share with you how I achieved this look. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8QwTrSBWTHm9bPoBJZrw1xVuFv_bQBceeP98VTKqgpiKxRQ94_ycQqCHZbM6NjsefcLM5yUNfoRPBZJgqJgSM4CyyDMT5Zdif21FaV1reeqkUBL5tEj-nfrdvZAjjeo9UPuFLuiD-lLbJ/s1600/PicsArt_1392066006428.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8QwTrSBWTHm9bPoBJZrw1xVuFv_bQBceeP98VTKqgpiKxRQ94_ycQqCHZbM6NjsefcLM5yUNfoRPBZJgqJgSM4CyyDMT5Zdif21FaV1reeqkUBL5tEj-nfrdvZAjjeo9UPuFLuiD-lLbJ/s1600/PicsArt_1392066006428.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure began with two coats each of Essie Play Date and Bettina 190. The formula for both of these polishes is really nice. They went on smoothly and had a high gloss finish without a topcoat. I chose these colors to play up the fabulous glitter I used, Loaded Lacquer Oxygen Bar. <a href="http://loadedlacquer.com/products/oxygen-bar" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Oxygen Bar</span></a> is described as matte neon pink, matte neon blue, metallic purple, holographic lavender and periwinkle hex and squares in multiple sizes. I love everything about this polish. The neon glitters are incredibly eye catching while the periwinkle glitter lends a softer feel and the tiny holographic glitter keeps it playful.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These stamping decals were created with Pueen43, Cult Nails Tempest, Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!, & China Glaze Gothic Lolita. I applied a coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Silver because..well, one could never have too much holo sparkliness, right? I sealed all of cuteness in with a coat of my favorite glossy topcoat, HKGirl, and voilà!</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello Lacquer Luvers! I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far. Things are pretty busy around here but I'm enjoying spending time with my family. I got around to doing my nails last night and couldn't wait to get up and take pictures of this! I'm sure most of you are expecting something with hearts.. I'll have those up this week, I promise! It's been a while since I've done a neon mani though and the mood struck me to come up with this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqxNhajOPSQXvsX8YIi841h5rLDB-0Sq8qFfpgOhx0HpKGl-7cOg0AgFs1hfWkhAa50ATKkhI9uxawqfAtuTy9eCFB-eJ_675Qa-REfobKfYzzJ-G4nEnY49hExMZky-mp10TfpKb-S6th/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_13919520558781952714944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqxNhajOPSQXvsX8YIi841h5rLDB-0Sq8qFfpgOhx0HpKGl-7cOg0AgFs1hfWkhAa50ATKkhI9uxawqfAtuTy9eCFB-eJ_675Qa-REfobKfYzzJ-G4nEnY49hExMZky-mp10TfpKb-S6th/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_13919520558781952714944.jpg" height="640" width="510" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I received these 2mm round neon studs from The Daily Charme a while ago. While re organizing my stash, I came across them again and knew that I wanted to use them for my next mani. The plate that I used for this manicure was right under these studs and I haven't used that yet either so I grabbed these and an arsenal of neon polishes and got to work. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVB280io4E50-xZTr7tSFcOmw7SBxYxMlKtwMERFAdyWtJytUJn7dOIjszklPZy8yQyDL-lCYUT9RloumpmVjb6erCl6ix0ZqMFfREr3IKC1T8udH51yWDmG2UEaFYCwY1LkucwUWpneue/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1391952135949-922578609.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVB280io4E50-xZTr7tSFcOmw7SBxYxMlKtwMERFAdyWtJytUJn7dOIjszklPZy8yQyDL-lCYUT9RloumpmVjb6erCl6ix0ZqMFfREr3IKC1T8udH51yWDmG2UEaFYCwY1LkucwUWpneue/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1391952135949-922578609.jpg" height="640" width="566" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I began with 2 coats of Bettina Matte and 1 coat of Finger Paints Black Expressionism (FPBE). Matte is a basic white polish and was great for getting the neon colors to pop. Using a makeup sponge, I dipped the corners in various colors (Essie Bottle Service + multiple Island Girl neons) and applied the polish to my white canvases. Once that dried, I used FPBE to stamp on this image from Lily Anna 08 and sealed my nails with my oh-so-shiny HKGirl topcoat. I completed this manicure by adding the neon studs before the topcoat was completely dry.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love how the studs pop against the black polish and the graffiti-ish vibe the image on this plate gives this manicure! You can find these <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/157560580/120-neon-rainbow-nail-art-2mm-round?ref=shop_home_active_2" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">awesome studs</span></a> in The Daily Charme's Etsy shop for $3.50 & the <a href="http://www.messymansion.com.au/shop/image-plates/lily-anna-plates/image-plate-la08/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Lily Anna 08 plate</span></a> on Messy Mansion's website for $10.00. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello Lacquer Luvers! A few weeks ago I just so happened to be on Facebook at the right time because I came across a flash giveaway and was lucky enough to actually win, yaaaay!! The giveaway was held by Above The Curve and Model City and the winner simply had to guess a number between 1-1000. I chose 815 (Gabrielle's birthday) & got to pick a polish and cuticle oil from Model City as my awesome prize. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQuxygrYQhRixku1Wco9Skl_NkyWfMBtXGErAswvy_iHFRCk7b7MFy14jQbhS9QSyReNVloXIt2QkIsduon3FXScxCLQf5OS-2X_E7xXvk0bjsksG-HzHs2E_WQqIgPiml_SOjLxg2wBoN/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_13916204967411952714944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQuxygrYQhRixku1Wco9Skl_NkyWfMBtXGErAswvy_iHFRCk7b7MFy14jQbhS9QSyReNVloXIt2QkIsduon3FXScxCLQf5OS-2X_E7xXvk0bjsksG-HzHs2E_WQqIgPiml_SOjLxg2wBoN/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_13916204967411952714944.jpg" height="640" width="478" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Admittedly, I haven't heard of Model City before this giveaway but was instantly intrigued by the beautiful creations in her shop upon clicking the link in her Facebook bio. I mean, wow! Gorgeous holos and glitter polishes, what was there not to love? It was hard to pick one but I'm very happy with the pretty that I chose.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
More Than Words is described as a berry holographic jelly blend with a splash red micro flakes. The description is dead on! I applied three coats of this beauty for this look. I liked this polish more and more with each coat. The berry color is super pretty and the scattered holo particles blinged it up perfectly, but the red flakes in it are what made me fall in love with this polish. Just look at them in the macro below!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stunning, isn't it? One of the things I really loved about this manicure was that I didn't use my clean up brush once! The formula and brush are perfection as was the scent of the sugar cookie cuticle oil I received in this prize pack. This blend of Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil, Vitamins A, C, D, & E, and fragrance oils, absorbed into my cuticles very fast and didn't leave a greasy feel. It really did smell like sugar cookies, too! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Isn't It Neat? (Sea Lore Ariel)Hello Lacquer Luvers! A few months ago I hosted a nail meet-up here in Miami and got to meet a group of women who shared the same passion for nail polish as we all do. We all got together and met up at a local beauty supply shop and had a fun sushi lunch. It was so nice to hang out with people who loved something so seemingly "small" to others but plays a huge role in our lives.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5Ya9m1ZqBcfpYqQwIkN8vSYXg_Q_ejLmSDIyPgi-oFAbL1ttrIc-x-X6F1pce4Pr2ESQRpOm9SDSaBFL5d_UXdD8S-L_WYDSKQfcvgGRHXaSj3J9t-F4ssVH5vtvZfVvTEd9fiCXOtf0Z/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390792066348681222989.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5Ya9m1ZqBcfpYqQwIkN8vSYXg_Q_ejLmSDIyPgi-oFAbL1ttrIc-x-X6F1pce4Pr2ESQRpOm9SDSaBFL5d_UXdD8S-L_WYDSKQfcvgGRHXaSj3J9t-F4ssVH5vtvZfVvTEd9fiCXOtf0Z/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390792066348681222989.jpg" height="640" width="608" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We held a swap at the meet and exchanged polish gifts amongst each other. There was a raffled prize as well. Jamie, the lovely maker behind Sea Lore, generously sponsored a prize for the raffle. I ended up winning it (yay!) & was so excited to unwrap this beauty. Sea Lore Ariel can be described as bright turquoise jelly with red squares, purple hexes, green glitter and green shimmer.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure began with two coats of Bettina Sand Blast (light grey cream). I applied two coats of Ariel over Sand Blast on my ring and middle fingers and my thumb. This polish is so jam packed with glitter and shimmer that you barely see any of the grey underneathe, which I love! The green shimmer in this is spectacular, it really does give this polish the feel of a mermaids' scales. I then used Bettina polishes in Purple, Flame & Mojito to create a water marble that compliments the colors of Ariel. My manicure was complete with one coat of HKGirl topcoat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
I really like Sea Lore Ariel. This polish was beautifully crafted in honor of one of my absolute favorite movies from my childhood. It is whimsical, playful, and pretty... just like Ariel! <a href="http://sealore.bigcartel.com/products" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Sea Lore</span></a> polishes retail for $10 for full size bottles (15ml) and $5.50 for minis (7.5ml). If you could have a polish inspired by any movie what movie would you pick? What do you all think of this manicure? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!<br />

Hello Lacquer Luvers! Today I have yet another stamping decal manicure to share with you all, surprise surprise! I'm telling you, this method of stamping is so addicting. It has made me think of my plates in ways I would've never imagined. It's so much fun experimenting with limitless colors rather than my normal black/white stamping. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi56cXcZlnMrDSgM71pIqbzbb6ewHKg7oHyAGqDkD0skjBHjHSZn1ZOMYVMnMN_zPF6Cp66JnpY53FfMwZDU-bWfKLMTINywWUz8BDTWKBCwdK1xTEu9xobaKkYCQ2OJKDh82fLdGcZ_uFL/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390755480524-1992292639.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi56cXcZlnMrDSgM71pIqbzbb6ewHKg7oHyAGqDkD0skjBHjHSZn1ZOMYVMnMN_zPF6Cp66JnpY53FfMwZDU-bWfKLMTINywWUz8BDTWKBCwdK1xTEu9xobaKkYCQ2OJKDh82fLdGcZ_uFL/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390755480524-1992292639.jpg" height="640" width="524" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, some of you might have read the title of this post and are wondering what AIS is. AIS, otherwise known as Adventures in Stamping, is a nail stamping group on Facebook. Every week we vote on a theme and everyone posts their mani's on Sunday's. If you have questions about stamping or just want a place to admire everyone else's work, AIS is perfect for you! This week the challenge was to stamp using three purples. Ok, so I used more than 3 for this manicure but that's okay, right? I mean, there isn't a such thing as too much purple is there?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My mani began with 2 coats each of Zoya Heather & Monica. While that dried, I began to make my stamping decal. I used Zoya Monica along with <a href="http://winstoniastore.com/nail-art/stamping-kit/20-nail-art-stamping-image-plates-first-generation-2013.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Winstonia</span></a> plate W111. The colors I used to fill in the decal are Zoya Heather & Essie's Play Date and DJ Play That Song. Once I placed the decals on my accent fingers, I applied one coat of <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/LacquerheadPolish" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Lacquerhead Polish</span></a> Space Cadet 2.0 to the rest of my nails. Space Cadet 2.0 can be described as a deep Purple jelly full of various sizes and shapes of purple and holographic glitter. Although this polish is no longer in Lacquerhead's shop, I would recommend that you visit her site because there are plenty of other pretties to purchase or add to your wishlists. My manicure was topped with the best topcoat ever, <a href="http://glistenandglow.bigcartel.com/product/hk-girl-fast-drying-super-shiny-top-coat" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">HKGirl</span></a>.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although I love the way this manicure looks in pictures, I'm not as fond of it in real life. Everything is great except that the larger circle glitter doesn't lay as flat as I would like it to. It's a bummer but not enough for me to call this a fail. What do you all think of this manicure? Have you tried stamping decals yet? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!</div>

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I'm back with another Messy Mansion stamping plate review for you today. This time I'm using MM14, otherwise known as "the bird plate." As you can see in the photo below, this stamping plate is full of bird, cage, and feather images that are all very cool!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really love the birds on the wire image in the middle of the plate and decided to test it out for this review. I searched Google images and found this picture of birds on a wire at sunset. I was so inspired by it and got excited at the idea of turning my tiny canvases into a replica of this gorgeous photo. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure began with my base colors, 2 coats of Zoya Pixie Dust Beatrix & 1 coat of Cult Nails Tempest. I then got out an army of Zoya colors: Darcy, America, Micky, Yummy, Perrie & Lael. I used the tips of makeup sponges to create the look of the sky. Various colors were layered over one another to create a nice blend. </div>

<br />
Once my colorful sunset was dry, I used Konad Special Stamping Polish in black to pick up the image onto my stamper. Working very quickly, I used the end of a toothpick to scrape off some of the image. This left me with two wires instead of seven and I quickly stamped them onto my nails. Part of the wire didn't transfer over (this was user error from me taking longer than I should've to get the image on my nail) so I just used a striper brush to fill that in. This manicure was complete with a coat of HKGirl topcoat.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Hello Lacquer Luvers! I have another stamping decal manicure to share with you all today. I have gotten so many compliments from you all on the last few that I've done (thank you! ♡) and I'm glad that you like these as much as I do. This method of stamping is one that I wish I would have learned a long time ago. It makes placement near perfect and if you ever tried stamping I'm sure you can agree what a nightmare that is sometimes. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinfgHPeWrIzA87WX4vmegd8HJ-p0Jvtnt6NsZUMQn8d8RBI8tDIF5bGvmWKwi9bZOs5zEfwLjTe3vEsjh6RbVqDdKkgNs9kjFTmsx0os6tj77UBcJfwbN-K0NHO_VhyWmrcYJxgf8m_YYN/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390333979804-431837932.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinfgHPeWrIzA87WX4vmegd8HJ-p0Jvtnt6NsZUMQn8d8RBI8tDIF5bGvmWKwi9bZOs5zEfwLjTe3vEsjh6RbVqDdKkgNs9kjFTmsx0os6tj77UBcJfwbN-K0NHO_VhyWmrcYJxgf8m_YYN/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390333979804-431837932.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I was lucky enough to receive a review package from Messy Mansion which included the plate above. Messy Mansion is an indie plate company based in Australia. Their plates are beautifully etched and each have unique designs. The first plate I'm reviewing, <a href="http://www.messymansion.com.au/shop/image-plates/mm-series-plates/image-plate-mm12/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">MM12</span></a>, has a variety of chevron and heart designs on it. There's also a tribal-ish print that caught my eye immediately and it's the design I'll share with you all today.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju0Tt1MX6rA5u0CRdHI1iXd_dDkeQC7Q7iwDeY3s047HNpy5fM1aS5hV3wze9zNiJpE7M5W2bYTgAOTzdUOyAhLNWJ4AY9jEUYTT9Yfs9l5pmp2j9YRGY_rUrq_RyV0ykL0T5Ah7Aw_QGY/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390309548164-714397118.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju0Tt1MX6rA5u0CRdHI1iXd_dDkeQC7Q7iwDeY3s047HNpy5fM1aS5hV3wze9zNiJpE7M5W2bYTgAOTzdUOyAhLNWJ4AY9jEUYTT9Yfs9l5pmp2j9YRGY_rUrq_RyV0ykL0T5Ah7Aw_QGY/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390309548164-714397118.jpg" height="640" width="492" /></a></div>
<br />
This manicure began with 2 different base colors. I used 1 coat of FingerPaints Black Expressionism and 2 coats of Bettina Marshmallow on my accent nails. I applied a coat of Spoiled Ants In My Pants over Black Expressionism then got started on my stamping decals. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3U5JXjYIFg3h6-eqfTb67sRRmR3Ti_QrJAK3ZXNGJJdDLm_1AYeew3MMTcujaRrQFhHQ1CRAzY-rDjAHBJKS3i7xumgV5sgNtMd0P2FIFUQUlbaHr2LdpZ7yOIT6v7p6YEEy_oXs77H9c/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390310155473-660345848.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3U5JXjYIFg3h6-eqfTb67sRRmR3Ti_QrJAK3ZXNGJJdDLm_1AYeew3MMTcujaRrQFhHQ1CRAzY-rDjAHBJKS3i7xumgV5sgNtMd0P2FIFUQUlbaHr2LdpZ7yOIT6v7p6YEEy_oXs77H9c/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1390310155473-660345848.jpg" height="406" width="640" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To start the decals, I applied polish (Black Expressionism) to the image on MM12 and scraped off the excess polish. I picked the image up with my stamper and allowed it to dry. I then used a toothpick and dipped it in polish (Bettina Sunrise, Sally Hansen Grass Slipper, Zoya America) and filled in some of the spaces. I covered the entire image with top coat and waited for it to dry. After it was dry, I applied the decal and completed this manicure with a coat of HKGirl topcoat.</div>
<br />

<br />
<br />
I love this tribal print on Messy Mansion's MM12 plate! This plate is beautifully etched and the images are large. Messy Mansion plates measure in at 7cm so if you have longer/wider nails I would say it's safe to assume these would be a pleasure for you! The MM series of stamping plates retail for $7 & can be purchased <a href="http://www.messymansion.com.au/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">here</span></a>. Have you tried the stamping decal method yet? What do you think of this manicure? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear lacquer luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!<br />

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I hope you all are doing well. I've been keeping busy with the help of my toddler (whew, how do they move so fast?!) but took some time out for myself last night and created a look that I've been wanting to try for some time now. I was inspired by my Aztec print leggings and came up with a trendy look that you'll be able to create as well!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha3WJKyTb15R3IkWNURWBJcAUzHXbrjPcA9M1aj6BA_0S24CA9uPJFjL5K2Ppbjhxxjj2qZ6CnGGxlGG0zoUUK5uQga_L9RWE6Bej542ePfqMz1ojQe65KfElHJ8mPU4zoLbm-FG4WPPpO/s1600/IMG_20140112_181056.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha3WJKyTb15R3IkWNURWBJcAUzHXbrjPcA9M1aj6BA_0S24CA9uPJFjL5K2Ppbjhxxjj2qZ6CnGGxlGG0zoUUK5uQga_L9RWE6Bej542ePfqMz1ojQe65KfElHJ8mPU4zoLbm-FG4WPPpO/s320/IMG_20140112_181056.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I got these leggings from Ashley Stewart on cyber Monday and just love them! The color palette is so bright and fun and was right up my alley for what I love in nail art. I went through my stash and tried to pair the perfect shades of polish to my leggings and got busy! Here's what I ended up with:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ok, seriously...this has got to be my favorite mani of all time! The colors and the print came out better than I could have ever expected. But, if you know me, you know that there is no way I freehanded this gorgeously intricate design onto my nails. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This manicure started off a little backwards for me. I usually paint my nails then do art but this time around I did the opposite. I started by creating the stamping decal that you see in the pictorial above. Here are the steps to creating stamping decals:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1. Allow design to dry on rubber stamper (This image is from Pueen10 & is stamped with Finger Paints Black Expressionism).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2. Using a toothpick and your choice of colored polish, start filling in the empty spaces.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3. Continue filling in the spaces with your choice of colors. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. Once you have completely filled in the image, apply your favorite topcoat over it. Make sure you go a little off the edges so that you can pick it up off the stamper. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5. After the topcoat is completely dry (I waited 20 minutes just to be sure), carefully pick up your image with tweezers and place it over your nail. I had Cult Tempest as my base to make the colors really pop! I used my clean up brush dipped in acetone to get rid of the excess decal on my finger and topped it with HKGirl topcoat to seal it all in.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjndJYDUhp01PxhxUWP2ge4KQ_XcV6ylzGVA2lTA1o0piowAtWpYqlI5gsaG-Cw0p83IIddCrNRxrdXRZuAeOKvK2ZORkI6ZYDPTpwSkRfzb7uQqZYz0Uz-BtRRak9gUFehTeHZKOUb2jyR/s1600/AztecLML2.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="466" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjndJYDUhp01PxhxUWP2ge4KQ_XcV6ylzGVA2lTA1o0piowAtWpYqlI5gsaG-Cw0p83IIddCrNRxrdXRZuAeOKvK2ZORkI6ZYDPTpwSkRfzb7uQqZYz0Uz-BtRRak9gUFehTeHZKOUb2jyR/s320/AztecLML2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My manicure began with one coat of Cult Nails Tempest and 3 coats of Essie Tart Deco. Tart Deco is a fabulous coral creme. The formula is nice and creamy which made application easy. After I topped that with HKGirl I used my studs from BornPrettyStore to add more dimension to this look. The other polishes used in this manicure are Bettina Sunrise, Sally Hansen Grass Slipper, & Nina Pro Cobalt.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibwNourIBjPMPQJliZR0Q9qFUf1a5V_pavPiDXGfEIXMeJ1Ge9KI8mnlRsYohIKWt5axlcqEvgI5XPVdkSAJcCNKiZHGQmL8XZ4T1swE6Z4n24a3wWLRY9kaqCeMM2-A_gdhMk_XF53jpI/s1600/AztecLML4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibwNourIBjPMPQJliZR0Q9qFUf1a5V_pavPiDXGfEIXMeJ1Ge9KI8mnlRsYohIKWt5axlcqEvgI5XPVdkSAJcCNKiZHGQmL8XZ4T1swE6Z4n24a3wWLRY9kaqCeMM2-A_gdhMk_XF53jpI/s640/AztecLML4.jpg" width="572" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
The stamping decal technique is really the only way I could have ever achieved a look like this. I am so thankful to have found this trick and plan to get better at it this year. What do you all think of this look? Have you tried stamping decals? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!<br />

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I'm sure most of you have seen the Zoya Naturel Collection and it's beautiful nude and rosy tones in all its glory by now. This collection will easily become your favorite if you are drawn to these colors as they can be worn year round and compliment virtually every skin tone. The Naturel Collection consists of 6 creamy simple shades that are perfect for the girl who thinks less is so much more!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1s7sfAm3rEu4ULaLIJwNg5NLGGy7MQSBrC5Gg9JM3dP2buex5X2Vqlxh7q9hNoM_XAYo6Vv5S7APwNK4FXf2XYwywJc7YpqLWawfNFVrPaCs9TT4rYzhNVyio0JVsIsm7JgYo9LLPkGqV/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1s7sfAm3rEu4ULaLIJwNg5NLGGy7MQSBrC5Gg9JM3dP2buex5X2Vqlxh7q9hNoM_XAYo6Vv5S7APwNK4FXf2XYwywJc7YpqLWawfNFVrPaCs9TT4rYzhNVyio0JVsIsm7JgYo9LLPkGqV/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML2.jpg" height="640" width="598" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So much for me thinking less is more because I'm definitely the girl that just NEEDS nail art in her life. Although I absolutely adored how Chantal looked on me, I was itching to oomph her up just a bit. I think what I've created here is a look that might still be very wearable to work. Maybe?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjfREuBYagJUfPQryHRXhnw-rGMSC3rkGFOF4_7P5NYy_ZHeZ2d0I5B9TBj8jsPGbSwAIK5mcB9W50KWQ7MLynX_bHSUVgVZroBDrpGQq6JF9oMGLzRuScu7p0asz6f93tSA7VXmBryuqt/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjfREuBYagJUfPQryHRXhnw-rGMSC3rkGFOF4_7P5NYy_ZHeZ2d0I5B9TBj8jsPGbSwAIK5mcB9W50KWQ7MLynX_bHSUVgVZroBDrpGQq6JF9oMGLzRuScu7p0asz6f93tSA7VXmBryuqt/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML.jpg" height="640" width="456" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My manicure began with 3 coats of Zoya Chantal. Zoya describes Chantal as a delicious full-coverage, French Vanilla cream. And delicious she is! This polish applied so nicely and the formula was buttery smooth. I then used a makeup sponge along with Chantal, Brigette & Odette to create a gradient. I repeated this process 3 times, making sure each coat was dry before doing the next. I used 2 coats of Zoya Gilty over the gradients and on my accent finger for some glitz. The rose stamping decal on my ring finger was created using Brigette & Odette + RA110 (Red Angel) stamping plate. HKGirl completed this beautiful look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIWHfOmgcF-lwPFKKDSi3GYovx4zBK2JDR05GRM6aaOdGFdUoQMXzslWrftaqaYbadpSKN0c61NljlLfVd0q08yvAqzX0HUoz4JPcBF-DrgB0slaAC3Nd4IX8XpJQTKDHjNC8qPnCh9d1q/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIWHfOmgcF-lwPFKKDSi3GYovx4zBK2JDR05GRM6aaOdGFdUoQMXzslWrftaqaYbadpSKN0c61NljlLfVd0q08yvAqzX0HUoz4JPcBF-DrgB0slaAC3Nd4IX8XpJQTKDHjNC8qPnCh9d1q/s1600/NaturellyGiltyLML3.jpg" height="640" width="592" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
The finished look of this manicure has a sort of vintage/antique vibe going on. This is so different than any other look I've ever created, and I must say, it tickles my fancy quite a bit! I love how well these colors play together. Gilty lends this otherwise monotone manicure a bit of glamour and I just love that! The <a href="http://zoya.com/content/category/Zoya_Naturel_Collection_Nude_Natural_Nail_Polish_Colors.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Zoya Naturel Collection</span></a> is available for purchase on Zoya's website and retails at $9 per bottle or $54 for the entire collection. However, you can find out how to purchase 3 FREE Zoya nail polishes for $12 (just pay shipping) by reading the details of their <a href="http://zoyanailpolish.blogspot.com/2014/01/color-your-world-in-2014-with-3-free.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">current promo</span></a>! Will you be picking up any of the Naturel Collection or do you have your eyes on a few other colors? I will have a full review and swatches of all 6 of these very soon. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!<br />

</div>
Hello and Happy New Year Lacquer Luvers! With new beginnings amongst us, I've decided to pay homage to the past with my manicure today. Black, white and floral were major trends for 2013 and I've managed to incorporate them into a lovely manicure.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
How gorgeous is that look? Many of my friends and family members know just how much I love flowers. I'm always drawn to them whether in nature, a centerpiece, or a fabulous and fashionable piece of clothing. Having said that, let me show you what inspired this manicure:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This bedding set was gifted to us over the holidays (Thanks Mom!!) & I instantly fell in love with it! Naturally, my eyes gravitate to the contrast of the colors. I don't think anything pops as much as black and white together. Love!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My mani began with 2 coats of Sinful Colors Whipped and 1 coat of Cult Nails Tempest. If you follow me regularly, you've already seen these two polishes on the blog. I use Tempest quite often. It really is the best one - coat white polish I have ever used. In fact, it's the only one-coat white that I have. Whipped has easily climbed up there with my favorite black polishes. The formula is superb and the matte finish gives it a sexy quality which lends itself perfectly to the name of that collection, Leather Luxe. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1PFFnnlti1qltDF7tthZclWNhdSKpDxGUHH6ZqEAVQXkMAJSAhifhG5vai0EoiFb2TUzZPfTYJgBpWwqcOSF3_TrtbkSQks6MtrVC2FOr_yqVViAxIn4XQyLwubWT5I8_O3D5fHf5rPGn/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1388712007275-380511108.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1PFFnnlti1qltDF7tthZclWNhdSKpDxGUHH6ZqEAVQXkMAJSAhifhG5vai0EoiFb2TUzZPfTYJgBpWwqcOSF3_TrtbkSQks6MtrVC2FOr_yqVViAxIn4XQyLwubWT5I8_O3D5fHf5rPGn/s320/tmp_PicsArt_1388712007275-380511108.jpg" height="640" width="360" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I looked through every single stamping plate (Wow, I didn't realize I have so many!) that I have and picked out floral images that complimented the comforter. Tempest was used again in this manicure for stamping as was Konad Special Stamping Polish in black. The following plates were used to create the overall look of this manicure: MoYou Kitty Collection 02, Winstonia W104, Bundle Monster BM318, BM11, BM208, & Pueen PUEEN49.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first picture of this manicure is shown with one coat of HKGirl topcoat and the last is shown with one coat of OPI Matte Topcoat. I really adore the way this came out. So much so that I have had it on for four days now as I write this post! These nails make me curious to see what trends 2014 will bring. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo! </div>

I will be spending the day with my sweet little family and hope that you guys will be spending the day with someone you love as well. I am going to share a manicure with you today that I have been wearing for the past 3 days and I think you all will enjoy it just as much as I did. It's a fanciful wintry look that wasn't done in traditional colors but came together to create a beautiful manicure.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLZzV-gZcCPs3gP8bzYKInDnN9ZYUGHfmFhUeaITpFTykTl5PdRxX1m2vkBdsZOINLlJmgITTclZ26wmzQleL8dXqGJ_RaSY5cDZtWi82re-jVODYt2-N2xH9LYxqznDrgvDDmuH_9SgI/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1387913427359329486123.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLZzV-gZcCPs3gP8bzYKInDnN9ZYUGHfmFhUeaITpFTykTl5PdRxX1m2vkBdsZOINLlJmgITTclZ26wmzQleL8dXqGJ_RaSY5cDZtWi82re-jVODYt2-N2xH9LYxqznDrgvDDmuH_9SgI/s640/tmp_PicsArt_1387913427359329486123.jpg" width="610" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ok, so I know what you're thinking... black was probably the last color you thought of when I mentioned a festive mani but trust me, in the end it all comes together. Photo'd above is 2 coats of Sinful Colors Whipped. This polish is from their Luxe Leather collection and is matte black awesomeness. The formula is actually pretty amazing. It was not runny or thick. It applied nicely and evened out to a smooth texture. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQorDPqinE3erp2dX8U5nYQX0jo-GJv-liqp9Qho2Qbjb5MnUrt0c3y0u3g2MRgnMRncEE5PkobkWnpztL_R6ToF1dXoRTxkwN7A_eTuItqzBDdURboqVwRWuAf0C-9bwQ39ABy35j8ez-/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_1387681105917-859093820.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQorDPqinE3erp2dX8U5nYQX0jo-GJv-liqp9Qho2Qbjb5MnUrt0c3y0u3g2MRgnMRncEE5PkobkWnpztL_R6ToF1dXoRTxkwN7A_eTuItqzBDdURboqVwRWuAf0C-9bwQ39ABy35j8ez-/s640/tmp_PicsArt_1387681105917-859093820.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
<br />
I then used Color Club's gold holographic polish, Cherubic, to stamp on some whimsical snowflakes. I used four different snowflakes using <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Red-Angel-Stamping-Manicure-Accessories/dp/B005VX8S4G" target="_blank">Red Angel</a> (RA-110) & <a href="http://winstoniastore.com/" target="_blank">Winstonia</a> (W120) stamping plates on my ring and middle fingers. These holographic snowflakes really seemed as if they began to dance once I applied a coat of <a href="http://glistenandglow.bigcartel.com/product/hk-girl-fast-drying-super-shiny-top-coat" target="_blank">HK Girl</a> over it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnMH0PgBYMAlvpps2cUjdf7W3XdfHhKI3pTq1NEPIJFUU7w4sevVlHD2ZFYjLssH0QacjWo5dZqFCtl_KvLcrZWgW3iFcK-JZwOJs_YgTy9ajQt91jtyzKBdGVw5HVIvgUxMyyrwUgsGex/s1600/tmp_PicsArt_13878546247361385545951.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnMH0PgBYMAlvpps2cUjdf7W3XdfHhKI3pTq1NEPIJFUU7w4sevVlHD2ZFYjLssH0QacjWo5dZqFCtl_KvLcrZWgW3iFcK-JZwOJs_YgTy9ajQt91jtyzKBdGVw5HVIvgUxMyyrwUgsGex/s640/tmp_PicsArt_13878546247361385545951.jpg" width="534" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved the sparkle in the holo so much that I decided to pair my accent nails with a super glitzy gold polish by <a href="http://dailycharme.com/collections/lacquers/products/sunset" target="_blank">Daily Charme</a>. First I applied 1 coat of <a href="http://zoya.com/content/item/Zoya/Zoya-Nail-Polish-in-Ziv-ZP644.html" target="_blank">Zoya Ziv</a> as a base then 1 coat of Daily Charme Sunset. Sunset is from their Los Angeles collection and is gold metallic with holographic gold glitter. The formula was a little thick but definitely manageable. The holographic glitter in this gold polish made it one that as totally unique to any other gold polish in my collection. 1 coat of HK Girl topcoat completed my look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This look is so different and was so much fun to do. It was entertaining to watch the snowflakes come to life with the help of my favorite topcoat. What's on your nails today lovelies? Are you guys rocking festive manicures? What do you think of this combination? Again, Merry Christmas to you all and best wishes for a prosperous New Year! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo! </div>

The holidays sure are approaching fast aren't they? I might not have done much (Ok, Ok, I haven't done ANY *hangs head in shame*) festive nail art yet this year but I do have a little something for you all to feast your eyes on. Carolyn, the maker behind Liquid Sky Lacquer, sent me some beautiful nail polish treats and I'm very happy to share my swatches with you all today! Let's get right into it, shall we?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
The first swatch I have to share with you is of White Christmas:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCn1_3jO9cp24lDrQYlljsxJXnODLmgMrMe5uWVZPjS0eUHW0JcYE_aDveyCQo5iH4gKidE8klfvr6wmwtuqL906K2D5EgpDgjOPuzBpKhPISMIC-FXMijfXGR0b7iS_sXeva7RGzpWrua/s1600/tmp_LSLWC1LML-1215557362.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCn1_3jO9cp24lDrQYlljsxJXnODLmgMrMe5uWVZPjS0eUHW0JcYE_aDveyCQo5iH4gKidE8klfvr6wmwtuqL906K2D5EgpDgjOPuzBpKhPISMIC-FXMijfXGR0b7iS_sXeva7RGzpWrua/s640/tmp_LSLWC1LML-1215557362.jpg" width="490" /></a></div>
<br />
White Christmas is described as "white with slight silver holo that reminds you of snow falling on Christmas Day!" And it does! I applied three coats of this beauty to reach complete opacity. The formula was great! It wasn't streaky at all. It applied more like a cream. I didn't put topcoat on this one. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
My next swatch is of Ho! Ho! Ho!, a red, white, black, and gold glitter bomb that is so beautiful! Photo'd below is one coat of Ho! Ho! Ho! over White Christmas. I love this combination but probably should've put this over a cream so that it isn't "too much." Who am I kidding? It's the holidays! The more glitz the better, right?!<br />
<br />

<br />
Next up is a polish that made my heart skip a beat. Or two. Or three. Twilight Peacock is a holographic duochrome that shifts from purple to cyan. There really isn't words to describe this. It's glorious! The formula is perfection as it only took two coats to reach opacity. The pictures say it all, just look:<br />

<br />
'Tis The Season is a green, white, and red glitter bomb with the tiniest sprinkling of holographic sparkle. This polish is so festive you won't be able to help but to think of things like candy canes, fancy packages and beautiful wreaths. I applied one coat of 'Tis The Season over a green cream.<br />

Hot Cocoa With Whip is up next. It's a chocolate, caramel and white glitter I enjoyed looking at my nails when I wore this because it made me think of cold winters up north as a kid. This polish is unique to my collection as it's one of the first brown glitters I've seen and I absolutely love it. Here's one coat of Hot Cocoa With Whip over a nude cream.<br />

The next beauty I get to show you is Don't Eat The Yellow Snow. It is a yellow and white glitter topper with varying sizes of hexagonal glitter. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that phrase growing up. It's so funny to see it on the bottle! This polish applied nicely over my navy base and this was just one coat. <br />

Lastly, there's Holly Berries which is comprised of tiny gold glitter, small red hexagonal glitter and green bars. I gotta admit, at first glance this was my least favorite but here I am, writing this post 2 days after swatching these and I'm still wearing it... because I love it! It's so blingy that I had to take the pics in the shade because the sun couldn't handle all of this gorgeousness. This is one coat over a matte black base.<br />

Hello Lacquer Luvers! It's been some time..I know, I know. Life has been super hectic lately with a flu stricken household and a teething baby all at the same time. There's just not enough hours in a day or days in a week for me sometimes. I'm back today though with a post featuring an indie line that's cute and even a little <i>sassy</i>! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp2edHxlVXgWL7la0AF1-n27fJ176M5frY-TfwZzB3r8whUrVQgfN6bgjtwmGMLS6vTpD-I_deKE6ahjjlBy_NI_NGdhI2plA0c360fXYnaj-7dtUX4rUwM2eXyAgfEHWMefRTaKvRDHM2/s1600/PicsArt_1386211175582.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp2edHxlVXgWL7la0AF1-n27fJ176M5frY-TfwZzB3r8whUrVQgfN6bgjtwmGMLS6vTpD-I_deKE6ahjjlBy_NI_NGdhI2plA0c360fXYnaj-7dtUX4rUwM2eXyAgfEHWMefRTaKvRDHM2/s640/PicsArt_1386211175582.jpg" width="514" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First up, I have Boogie Nights which is a fun glitter topper. There are purple, blue, and holographic glitter that are hex, bars and diamond shaped. The base is clear and 3 Free and the application was easy. Here's 2 coats of Boogie Nights over 2 coats over a sky blue base. I added some musical stamping on the accent nail for a little more fun. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPO-f6wKqr0LO4SBr361HWsb76j9pzu9S6mJHnte1HtKW5wJl6t5umGn_OtpJwchPh9eNBAtowiwk4Q7nF1FmDzB2Cphy2jtNGyrj9aUJr34T4blSM3z_wGudIHO5vXqsAg2CotuN8AqXo/s1600/PicsArt_1386211416966.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPO-f6wKqr0LO4SBr361HWsb76j9pzu9S6mJHnte1HtKW5wJl6t5umGn_OtpJwchPh9eNBAtowiwk4Q7nF1FmDzB2Cphy2jtNGyrj9aUJr34T4blSM3z_wGudIHO5vXqsAg2CotuN8AqXo/s640/PicsArt_1386211416966.jpg" width="570" /></a></div>
<br />
Next up I have Money Girl, she's also a glitter topper. This one has a variety of light and emerald green and gold glitter that are square, hex and bars. The formula and application of this one was nice as well and not at all problematic. I applied 2 coats of Money Girl over a light grey base and completed this manicure with a shiny topcoat.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
These polishes surprised me. I ended up wearing Money Girl for 3 days despite my dislike for bar glitter. These are super fun and have good formulas. Sassy Girl Paint can be purchased for $7.99 in their online shop (please see link below). As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!<br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello Lacquer Luvers! It's such a special day today. I had the absolute pleasure and honor of swatching polishes for a company set to debut in just a few hours! Loaded Lacquer just might be the next line you start setting alarms for come restock time. Just check out my swatches of 4 lovely glitter bombs for yourselves below!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First up, we have The Dog Ate My Homework which might take a few of you back to childhood memories. This glitter bomb is jam packed with shreds, hexagonal, square and circle glitter that are black, white, green, grey and iridescent. The Dog Ate My Homework is abstractly reminiscent of shredded paper across a lawn or yard.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHD0f3xHnMYW9PLD9oIt_R7ougKUyEugaQAFD64PHnFlbZe8Sr0SHAavWu3xRDFMYKYIh-ecfDrTGOD210e4_ww69mLK90e95pm5eAxHC78rFHp_PTK1oLtz92GycslyyDZcVJOvm2EwT8/s1600/LoadedLacquerTDAMH+LML.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHD0f3xHnMYW9PLD9oIt_R7ougKUyEugaQAFD64PHnFlbZe8Sr0SHAavWu3xRDFMYKYIh-ecfDrTGOD210e4_ww69mLK90e95pm5eAxHC78rFHp_PTK1oLtz92GycslyyDZcVJOvm2EwT8/s640/LoadedLacquerTDAMH+LML.jpg" width="488" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I put 1 coat of TDAMH over 2 coats of Bettina Concrete. Loaded Lacquer's are, as the name implies, loaded with glitter. These aren't the type of polishes where you have to fish for glitter or worry about placement as the brushes are nice and hold a generous amount of polish on them. However, to get a uniform look with all of these mani's and avoid any clumps of glitter, I did give one side of the brush a good wipe on the bottles. All of these swatches were topped with 1 cost of Seche Vite.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next we have Fluffy Macaroons, a polish that's even sweeter than it's name! This beauty has a whimsical array of pastel and iridescent glitter that range in shape from hexagonal to square. There's light/dark pink, light/dark yellow, white, & mint glitter through and through but the periwinkle glitter in it just makes my heart skip a few beats! I love this so very much! Here she is 1 coat over 3 coats of Essie Turquoise and Caicos.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Oxygen Bar is up next and she is truly beautiful. This lovely contains hot pink, blue, purple, periwinkle and iridescent glitter. Again, the amount of glitter in these are very generous. This is one coat of Oxygen Bar over 3 coats of Zoya Heather.</div>

There's some iridescent glitter that reflects a light green color, too! Simple but oh so pretty! Shown below is 2 coats of China Glaze Recycle and 1 coat of Captain Obvious. </div>

Read on to find out why and how you can win a pair of Pedi-Sox for yourself! </div>

Pedi-Sox are the revolutionary answer to how you can have the ultimate home pedicure experience. These socks have a hole in the toe area which allows you to paint your toes while simultaneously keeping your feet comfy and clean, allowing moisturizers to absorb better and protect your nail polish - while extending the pleasure of the pedicure experience. These socks are quality-conscious, come in a variety of styles and are reusable. </div>

I began my home pedicure by filling a basin with warm water and soap flakes. I then scrubbed, cut and filed my nails and pushed back my cuticles. I exfoliated my heels with the aid of a sugar scrub that I made myself (I don't measure anything but it's a simple mix of brown sugar and coconut oil that leaves your skin so smooth, soft and moisturized).</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once I dried my feet thoroughly, I applied a super thick mani/pedi cream by Cacee then put on these fabulous leopard print Pedi-Sox. I was immediately impressed by the quality and thickness of these socks. I liked that they were nice and "snug", it felt as if they hugged my feet and kept them warm and cozy. Once I completed my pedi and removed the socks I was impressed with how moisturized my feet felt. It seemed as though my skin drank up the moisturizers in the cream rather than allowing them to evaporate. </div>

Hello Lacquer Luvers! Today is a very special day, it's Bettina's 50th Birthday!!! I know that to some of us <a href="http://bettinacosmetics.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Bettina</span></a> is a very new company but contrary to popular belief they have been around quite some time now. Bettina started off as M&J INC and eventually evolved into the company we have all grown to love, better known as Bettina. Today I wanted to honor and celebrate one of my all-time favorite cosmetic brands and I hope you all like the festive manicure that I came up with!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As most of you who have been with me on this blogging journey from the beginning know, I absolutely love the formula of Bettina's nail polishes. They are my go-to for water marbling. I have had nothing but amazing outcomes when using their polishes with techniques so it's no surprise I chose to slow off their fabulousness today. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My manicure began with 2 coats of Bettina Sand Blast. Sand Blast is a gorgeous grey creme, one of my favorites in my entire collection. I then used Sand Blast, 190 (pink) & Ocean (turquoise-ish) for my water marbled design and topped it off with Orion. Bettina Orion is a sheer pink, aqua, & silver shimmer polish that can be used in 3 coats on its own or used as a shimmer topper. I created a gradient on my accent finger using Sand Blast, 190, & Ocean then applied one coat of <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/LaquerliciousUnity" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Laquerlicious</span></a> Glamorously Sassy. One that dried, I used <a href="http://www.cultnails.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">Cult Nails</span></a> Tempest and BM307 to add the cupcake and dipped the end of a toothpick into 190 & Ocean for sprinkles. My mani was complete with a coat of the best topcoat ever, HK Girl!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am so happy with how this festive manicure turned out! It made me realize just how much I adore this company. Their colors are all gorgeous and the formula is by far one of the best there is out there. I'm lucky enough to live in Miami where I can easily find this brand in stores but for those of you who are not here or Puerto Rico you can easily obtain Bettina nail polish and other cosmetic goodies by emailing them at <span style="color: magenta;">rosamadistributors@gmail.com</span>. HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY BETTINA!!! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!! </div>

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I hope you all are doing well. I know I've been slacking here lately and I do apologize. I just have some other things consuming my time now and am trying my best to find a balance between everything going on. I do hope you guys understand and stick with me as I'm really trying my hardest to keep up with my beloved baby (I mean the blog in this case). Today I have my second Breast Cancer Awareness manicure to share with you all. I hope you like it!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My manicure is dedicated to the ladies (and gents) who are currently fighting to overcome Breast Cancer. I was inspired by the lyrics of Katy Perry's "Roar" as they are so inspirational and words I can hear anybody who has come face to face with any challenging circumstance saying. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've been wanting to use my <a href="http://www.moyou.co.uk/index.php/nail-art-design-image-plate-nail-stencils-collection-kit-set-suki-collection-04.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: magenta;">MoYou Suki Collection 1</span> </a>plate since I received it in the mail and finally got to! This plate is freaking gorgeous (seriously, click on the link. It's a work of art!) and had the perfect image to go with those lyrics. For this manicure I applied 2 coats of Zoya Purity followed by 1 coat of Orly Prisma Gloss Silver. Once that dried I used Zoya Lana to stamp on my pink tiger. I then used Bettina 187 & Bundle Monster's BM321 image plate to add the pink ribbon hanging by the teeth of my ferocious feline. My manicure was complete with 1 coat of HK Girl topcoat for a nice glossy finish!</div>

I am so happy that I was able to execute an idea that's been in my head since the first time I heard that song. The tiger on the MoYou Suki plate is so awesome and I'm glad I figured out how I would get the entire image onto my nails! What do you think of my nontraditional pink tiger mani? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo! </div>

Hello Lacquer Luvers! I hope you guys are all doing well and are getting ready to have a great weekend! Today I have a fun post that happens to be my first Halloween manicure of 2013 I share with you all. I hope it'll get your ideas going if you haven't thought of your Halloween mani yet. <br />

I'll be the first to admit, I'm not at all one of those girls that is into vampire movies or TV shows but when it comes to Halloween one of the first things I think of (besides the obvious pumpkins, witches, & candy corn) is Dracula and his fangs. For whatever reason, fangs have always intrigued me. I'm not sure whether it's because they're kinda scary looking or just different. In any case, I knew this year I wanted to try to replicate a fang mani that I've seen done a few times in other blogs and floating around instagram. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My fang-tastic skittlette began with a base of Essie Feed Me followed by two coats each of the following: Zoya Chyna, Raven & Purity. I used Zoya Livingston to create the blood splatter on my middle finger. The splatter was done by dipping one end of a drinking straw into Livingston and blowing short quick puffs of air through the opposite end to blow the polish onto my nail. There's one coat of SHXW Rosey Shooter on my index finger over Raven. Rosey Shooter is a red and white glitter topper with various sizes of hex and bar glitter. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
fangs were created using the stamping decal method. I put some clear polish on a sandwich baggy and once it dried I stamped on the lips from Bundle Monster's BM303 stamping plate in white. I used the end of a toothpick dipped in Livingston to fill in red and used Purity to draw my fangs. Not too shabby but my hands were obviously very shakey which is why I don't freehand much. Overall, I am really happy with how this manicure turned out. What do you think? Have you thought about what will be on your tips for Halloween? As always, I hope you all enjoyed this post my dear Lacquer Luvers and I look forward to sharing my next post with you, xo!</div>
